The Allen-Bradley 1747-SN is a Remote I/O (RIO) Scanner Module designed for the Allen-Bradley SLC 500 Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) system. This high-performance communication module enables high-speed data transfer between SLC 500 processors, Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and other automation devices across the RIO network. The 1747-SN module features one (1) Remote I/O communication port for connecting to RIO adapters and supports reliable data transmission over Belden 9463 cable, with a maximum communication distance of up to 3050 meters (10,000 feet). Ideal for industrial automation and process control applications, the Allen-Bradley 1747-SN provides stable, efficient, and long-distance RIO communication within SLC 500 PLC systems.
