The Allen-Bradley 1756-CNBR is a ControlLogix communication module designed to function as a ControlNet bridge for industrial network integration. It features two (2) ControlNet ports that support both simplex and redundant ControlNet network configurations, ensuring communication reliability and system redundancy. The module also includes one Network Access Protocol (NAP) port with a shielded RJ-45 8-pin interface, providing secure physical connectivity. Supporting a communication rate of 5 Mbps and up to 40–48 ControlNet logical connections, the 1756-CNBR enables high-speed and stable data exchange within ControlLogix systems.
