The Allen-Bradley 1746-HSCE is a High-Speed Counter Module designed for the Allen-Bradley SLC 500 Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) system. This advanced counter module supports bidirectional counting and includes inputs A, B, and Z, which are compatible with 5V DC differential signals and 0–5V DC single-ended inputs. It offers a maximum input frequency of 50 kHz, allowing precise and fast pulse counting for motion control and position tracking applications. The 1746-HSCE module also includes a limit switch input and four (4) open collector outputs for flexible control options.
