The Allen-Bradley 1734-IR2 is a Resistance Temperature Detector (RTD) input module from the POINT I/O product family, designed for precise temperature measurement in industrial automation systems. This 1734-IR2 module features two (2) single-ended, non-isolated input channels and supports a variety of RTD sensor types, including 100 Pt, 200 Pt, 100 Pt α = 0.003916, 200 Pt α = 0.003916, 10 Cu, 100 Ni, and 120 Ni sensors with respective α values. In addition to RTD sensors, it also accommodates direct wiring of 0–600 Ω analog signals. The module provides 16-bit resolution, ensuring accurate and reliable performance for distributed I/O temperature monitoring applications.
