The Allen-Bradley 1756-A7 is a compact ControlLogix chassis designed by Rockwell Automation. It features a small footprint, making it one of the smallest chassis options within the ControlLogix family. The chassis includes two (2) mounting tabs on the top and two (2) on the bottom for secure installation. It can be mounted with or without SEM screws — when SEM screws are not used, additional hardware such as two (2) star washers, two (2) flat washers, two (2) split-lock washers, and four (4) Phillips screws are required. When SEM screws are used, only two (2) Phillips screws are needed. The 1756-A7 chassis is classified as open-type equipment and does not include a protective enclosure, making it ideal for use inside control cabinets.
