The Allen-Bradley 1756-A17 is a ControlLogix chassis from Rockwell Automation designed to accommodate multiple system modules within the ControlLogix platform. This chassis includes five (5) mounting tabs on the top and five (5) on the bottom, offering flexible installation options. The 1756-A17 can be mounted either with or without SEM screws. When SEM screws are used, installation requires five Phillips screws, five flat washers, five split-lock washers, and five SEM screws. Without SEM screws, the chassis requires ten Phillips screws, five flat washers, five split-lock washers, and five star washers. The 1756-A17 chassis operates safely within a temperature range of 32 to 140 °F (0 to 60 °C) and is supplied without an enclosure, allowing integration into various control cabinet configurations.
