The Allen-Bradley and ProSoft Technology MVI56-MCM is a Modbus communication module designed for use with the ControlLogix platform.
It supports Modbus RTU and ASCII protocols in both Master and Slave modes, enabling flexible data exchange between ControlLogix systems and third-party devices.
The module occupies one slot in a local or remote ControlLogix chassis and has a backplane current load of 800 mA at 5 VDC.
Equipped with two configurable serial ports, the MVI56-MCM provides robust and reliable communication for industrial automation networks.
